Live Poker Returns to Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course with Grand Opening Celebration

The return of live poker at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Grantville has brought back the excitement and energy of the popular card game. After a soft opening three days a week, the poker room is gearing up for a grand opening celebration on Thursday.

Tony Frabbiele, vice president and general manager of Hollywood Casino’s Pennsylvania properties, emphasized the importance of live poker as a gaming amenity and the high demand from customers for its return. The poker room currently features 11 tables and will expand its hours to four days a week starting Thursday.

Andrew Watts, director of casino operations, highlighted the efforts taken to create a top-notch poker room that provides the best customer experience. Popular promotions like daily and nightly tournaments and progressive high hand jackpots are in the works for the future.

Poker room manager Brian Hurst noted the strong demand for $1-$3 and $2-$5 Texas Hold’em games, with the possibility of spreading other games like Omaha and higher stakes Hold’em based on customer feedback. The Hollywood poker room uses the Bravo poker online app for game availability and waiting lists.

Overall, the return of live poker at Hollywood Casino has been met with enthusiasm from both new and returning players. The addition of live poker at Hollywood Casino in Morgantown further expands the gaming options for enthusiasts in the area.
