Dennis Quaid Announces Support for Donald Trump in Upcoming Elections
Actor Dennis Quaid made headlines on Tuesday when he announced that he would be voting for former president Donald Trump in the upcoming November elections. This surprising revelation left Piers Morgan startled during an appearance on his show Uncensored.
Quaid, known for his roles in films like The Parent Trap and The Lawmen: Bass Reeves, admitted that while he sometimes shuddered at Trump’s statements, he ultimately decided to support him because he liked the way he conducted himself during his administration.
“As president, the only thing I liked about Trump was everything he did,” Quaid boldly stated. He further expressed his readiness to face any criticism that may come from his public endorsement of Trump, stating that it just made sense to him.
During his conversation with Morgan, Quaid touched upon Trump’s criminal cases, stating that the former president is the most investigated person in history and that authorities have not been able to find substantial evidence against him. Quaid expressed frustration over the hush money case involving Stormy Daniels, questioning the validity of the charges against Trump.
Highlighting Trump’s achievements, Quaid praised him for his leadership qualities and accomplishments, including his handling of international relations and his swift defeat of ISIS. Quaid expressed his belief that Trump is working for the American people and stands up for them.
In national polls, Trump currently leads incumbent President Joe Biden by a small but considerable margin, with voters expressing dissatisfaction with Biden’s handling of inflation and showing increasing confidence in Trump’s ability to manage the economy.
Quaid’s endorsement of Trump adds an interesting twist to the upcoming elections, as the former president continues to be a polarizing figure in American politics.
