Rupert Murdoch, 93, Marries Fifth Wife Elena Zhukova, 67 in California Ceremony
Media mogul Rupert Murdoch, 93, has tied the knot for the fifth time, marrying 67-year-old Elena Zhukova at his Californian vineyard and estate. The ceremony took place at his $22 million Moraga Estate winery in Bel-Air, where the couple were seen mingling with guests.
The retired biologist from Moscow, Russia, wore a white dress while Murdoch opted for a dark suit and patterned yellow tie. The couple reportedly met last year at a gathering, and Murdoch proposed to Elena in March, marking his second engagement within a year.
This marriage comes after Murdoch ended his marriage to fourth wife Jerry Hall in August 2022. Prior to that, he was married to entrepreneur Wendi Deng, with whom he shares two daughters. His first marriage was to Patricia Booker, with whom he shares a daughter, followed by a marriage to Scottish journalist Anna Murdoch Mann, with whom he had three children.
Murdoch, known for founding Sky News and his media empire, announced his retirement from News Corp in 2023, passing the reins to his son Lachlan. His empire includes News Of The World, The Sun, New York Post, Wall Street Journal, and Fox News, which he launched in 1996.
