Metropolitan Police Investigate Criminal Damage to Labour Candidate’s Office in Walthamstow

The Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation into a disturbing incident of criminal damage at the office of Labour candidate Stella Creasy in Walthamstow. Photos shared by Ms. Creasy on social media show that the windows and front door of her office were targeted in the attack.

Detectives Superintendent Dion Brown expressed his concern, stating that it is unacceptable for a prospective parliamentary candidate’s office to be subjected to such vandalism. An urgent investigation is underway, with officers analyzing CCTV footage and following up on leads.

The incident is believed to have occurred in the early hours of Sunday, June 23rd, and witnesses or anyone with information are urged to contact the police. Ms. Creasy herself addressed the perpetrators on social media, asserting that their actions will not intimidate her or deter the democratic process.

In response to the attack, Ms. Creasy emphasized that Walthamstow will not be influenced by violence and called for the strongest penalties for those responsible.
