Tyrone Chamber of Commerce Hosts Business After Hours Event at iGo Headquarters
The Tyrone Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a Business After Hours networking event at InspectionGo (iGo) headquarters, located at 1010 Pennsylvania Ave. The event welcomed chamber members and business leaders to visit and tour the three-floor building, which has been completely restored and transformed into a thriving downtown business.
John Russell, the founder, CEO, and owner of iGo, saw potential in the former warehouse building and invested time and resources, in collaboration with ABCD Corporation, to bring it back to life. The company, which provides employment opportunities to local residents in various fields such as marketing, accounting, and sales, is planning to hire about 25 new employees at its Tyrone headquarters.
During the event, Russell expressed his passion for building the company in his hometown and his commitment to local growth. Scott Barger, a candidate for state representative, praised the repurposing of the building and the rapid growth of iGo’s staff, highlighting the positive impact on the community.
Chamber President Diane Irwin commended the revitalization of businesses in the downtown area and the influx of new opportunities for residents. The building’s historical significance as a former boardinghouse has been preserved, with original features like hardwood floors and intricate ceilings still intact.
New employee Kris Laird shared their excitement about working at iGo and the positive energy within the office. Chamber Director Rose Black praised Russell’s dedication to his businesses, employees, and investments in Tyrone, emphasizing the pride he should feel for his accomplishments.
Overall, the Business After Hours event at iGo headquarters showcased the success and growth of a local business that is making a significant impact not only in Tyrone but across the United States.
