Ice Spice Drops Highly Anticipated Debut Album ‘Y2K!’

Ice Spice, the rising star from the Bronx, has officially released her highly anticipated debut album, ‘Y2K!’ The 24-year-old artist dropped the album on Friday, featuring collaborations with top artists like Gunna, Travis Scott, and Central Cee. The album, produced by her longtime collaborator RIOTUSA, consists of 10 tracks, including four previously released singles and 15 minutes of new music.

The explosive album kicks off with ‘Phat Butt,’ a track with influences from Nicki Minaj and mentions of Batman and Pauly D. Other standout tracks include ‘Oh Shhh…’ with Travis Scott and ‘B**ch I’m Packin’ with Gunna. Ice Spice’s track ‘Did It First’ has already gained significant traction on social media, with over 13 million views and counting.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Ice Spice discussed the playful nature of creating the album, stating, "I just really like making fun records because that’s what I like to hear most of the time."

The Bronx native, who has been making waves in the hip-hop scene for the past two years, has been nominated for four Grammy Awards and won a VMA. She is set to embark on the North American leg of her world tour, starting on July 30 in Washington, DC, and concluding on August 31 in Miami.

Fans can catch Ice Spice live in New York City on August 6 and 7, as well as in Los Angeles on August 19. With the release of ‘Y2K!’ and her upcoming tour, Ice Spice is solidifying her status as a rising star in the music industry.
