Pivot, the lifestyle operating vertical of Atlanta-based Davidson Hospitality Group, has recently been selected to manage The Scarlet, Lincoln, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska. This 154-key hotel is the only one in partnership with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is located on the Nebraska Innovation Campus.

In other news, hotel performance in the U.S. has seen a slight decrease compared to the previous week, according to data from CoStar. Despite this, some markets like Seattle and Philadelphia have shown positive year-over-year increases in occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.

Athens-based Ionian Hotel Enterprises is investing €340 million to replace the historic Hilton Athens with a new hotel and luxury residential facility called The Ilisian, which will reflag under Hilton’s Conrad and Waldorf Astoria brands.

Additionally, a boutique hotel called The Bays at Frisco is set to open in Frisco, Texas, near the PGA of America headquarters and the Omni PGA Frisco Resort in late 2025. This 18-acre golf resort will include a 100,000-sq. ft. golf lab and a 19-key boutique hotel.

As the 2024 Summer Olympics approach, Paris hotel booking levels are nearing 80%, with occupancy levels steadily increasing in recent months. Radisson Hotel Group has also signed 10 new hotels in South Asia, including five in India, marking the first internationally branded hotels in those markets.

Lastly, Dublin-based Dalata Hotel Group has reported improved performance in the last few months of 2024, with group RevPAR ahead of 2023 levels. The company has a portfolio of 54 hotels with three more set to open in the UK this year.
