“Sajin (Sajin Baabu) approached me at a time when I had no money. After reading the script, I told him I have many problems with it and that I don’t think I’ll be able to do it. I told him to look for another actor,” Kani Kusruti shared, fighting back tears.

Despite her reservations, Kani Kusruti eventually took on the role, as she was offered a significant sum of money that she desperately needed at the time. Reflecting on the experience, she emphasized the importance of financial independence in her life and career.
