AMC Theatres Responds After Stabbings at Braintree Movie Theater
AMC Theatres is responding after a horrifying incident that occurred at their Braintree movie theater on Saturday. Four young girls, aged between 9 and 17, were stabbed by a man who entered the theater without paying. The attack was described as unprovoked, with the suspect fleeing the scene after the assault.
Lisa Dembowski, the mother of three of the victims, recounted the terrifying experience of receiving a call informing her of her daughters’ injuries. The girls were taken to Boston area hospitals for treatment, with their injuries reported as non-life-threatening.
The suspect, identified as Jared Ravizza, was later apprehended after allegedly stabbing two McDonald’s employees at a rest area in Plymouth. Surveillance footage showed Ravizza fleeing the scene in a black Porsche, which led to his capture by state police in Sandwich.
Ravizza is facing multiple charges, including assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Additionally, he is being investigated in connection with a homicide in Deep River, Connecticut.
